Osborne Village is famously recognized for its hip and diverse urban character, and in April 2012 was voted Canada's Greatest Neighbourhood. The River & Osborne Liquor Mart is at the centre of the Village alongside an array of eclectic shops, restaurants and bars. The Village's annual Canada Day celebration is Winnipeg's largest and longest running street festival featuring live music, performers, food and numerous activities for families and people of all ages.
