Before heading to the Flin Flon Liquor Mart to fulfill your beverage alcohol needs, be sure to stop and visit Josiah Flintabattey Flonatin (or Flinty for short). This statue was constructed 50 years ago and guards the entrance to the city. A $3 coin was also minted in his honour and was considered legal tender in Flin Flon until September of 2004.
